Need some assistance with correct Luger info
What is the correct name of the company that built my 1939 Luger?
Mauser Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken or Mauser Werke? Long story: I recently bought a Luger off this site for my son as a gift, I'm in the process of making a stand for it and want to have a little plaque made at a trophy shop to be attached to the stand. I wanted to put the Serial #, Name of the company where it was made and born on date on the plaque, and just wanted to get it right. I appreciate any assistance you guys can offer. Robb |

Robb,
The pistol was made at: Mauser Werke Oberndorf, Germany If you haven't already estimated its build date, let us know the serial number and we can estimate it. John |
