Bill.....did you get an explanation of strawed??? If not, here goes my version. The trigger, thumb safety lever, magazine release and the ejector were originally colored a sort of transparent goldish/yellow color. Some where during the 1937 production run, these parts were changed to blue, same as the rest of the gun.
Some of the pictures of yours indicate that is the case but seems well worn........ Ever come up with a price????

Thanks for the explanition.. its greatly appreciated.. Yesterday was a very bad day for me.. sinus headache. and just to many fires at work..
I think my mom and now brother have decided on a price.. I think I will be able to post it on Wednesday.. I want to let all know I am not playing any games with this, just trying to get what the luger is worth for my mom.. The other things I have been dealing with that this kind group does not know.. is I have a 22 yr old daughter that had a stroke 7 months ago..( still not walking on her own and no movement on her left arm) and my mother getting ready to move into a retirment community.. things have been a bit stressful.. again thanks all to this group for all of your help..
