luger,cal.7.65 receiver ring DWM toggle DWM no sight on rear toggle right side of receiver standing lion,barrel 18" bottom germany crown over N no.210 bulgarin extractor, frame no 2225 letter b sight 800 yds. all small parts no. 25 magazine stainless steel, alumium base n0. 5900 letter b + and eagle anyone can tell tell any information I would appreciate it thanks.

Your gun has had an extra long barrel added to it at some point in its life; this reduces its collector value. There is a chance the rework occurred in the 1920â??s or 30â??s, just about any length of barrel could be ordered.

Hello Vern, yes I was the high bidder, I have it in my possession now, no I havn't shot it yet I bought it because I thought it was pretty neat, the gun is better than it looked on auction arms. is the DWM correct on this gun or should it have a Bugarin crest on the toggle? When I can find the time I will shoot it an let you know. I knew 18' is pretty long but on a pistol it's just hard to believe how long it is. If you can tell me anything about this gun please let me know, thanks

Your gun is a mix of parts, Bulgarian upper and post WWI lower. Bulgarians are very desirable guns but yours is not even close to complete. Your toggle is not correct.

There is a small chance that your barrel might be from Pacific Arms, please look over your gun particularly the barrel for any marks and let us know what you see.
I donâ??t want to get your hopes up; there are a lot of mixed parts visible on your gun, generally speaking that is bad news for the collector.

Look very closely for any marks that might tell us who put your gun together, the marks might be hidden so look closely.

Hello Vern, thanks for the reply, I know its a mismatched parts gun, but I didn't buy it for a collector, with the 18" barrel its something different. I looked at the barrel very close theres no other markings except the ones posted, I''l go over it again check everything out again an keep you posted thanks

Jim, With that long a barrel, you may have some function problem with standard 7.65mm ammo. Not an easy balance to obtain, but if I can be of assistance, let me know. Lugerdoc

Still like that gun!

The barrels is crown/N proofed showing it was proofed in Germany before 1939 (when the proof changed to an eagle/N)..

The Bulgarian guns had the DWM scroll on the chamber and the Bulgarian crest on the toggle. The batch was imported in the 1960s by Interarms and some where sold unaltered, but others had their toggle markings defaced in order to conceal the fact that the guns had been imported from an Eastern-block country.

I guess someone in a not too distant past, gathered some parts and built this very entertaining shooter. It would be interesting to see how it performs with standard (and spiffed up) .30 luger rounds.

Shooting this gun as a semi-auto rifle should be fun, but I think attaching a stock to it may cause problems where you live.

With an 18-inch barrel, attaching a stock is no problem...it is legal.
