Hugh,
If you ever sell that without giving me first crack at it I'll tell everyone I know that your grip girls are really transvestites! Alien transvestites with horrible diseases!!

Nice!
Very nice. When you have, and shooting from old guns, it is like history traveling. Also, if you know history of your old guns. Do you know what I mean? My Steyr M1909 (.32 ACP) was taken from German officer 1944, in Pokuplje, it is place near capitol of Croatia - Zagreb, Frommer Stop 1912 was taken 1944 from Ustasa in Slavonski Brod (Ustasa was Croatian radikal army force on German side in WWII). Walther factory in WWII make Walther P.38 for Croatian army in WWII, they have Croatian shiled on left side of slide, they are rare now, and it is hard to find them. I have few new handguns, but old guns, make me happy.

The engraving could be factory original. This gun deserves a Colt factory letter.

Aron,
It is not factory engraving, it is in fact recent work by an engraver in Texas, I should have stated that it is "period style" engraving

I'm green. Think I'll put my Police Positive up now. Although it's a nice one, it's no where near that nice!

I had a nice PP until it went out of time and tried to turn itself into a deringer.
Now I have a nice, nearly worthless, PP with a replacement barrel and a re-timing job. Moral of story: when you notice your .38 Special suddenly kicks like a mule, don't fire that next shot!

I not "big" on engraved pistols, but your Colt is outstanding.
Good luck. Joe
