I just wanna cry!!

Two weeks ago I bought a nice Swiss Model 1900 with a nice holster at a very good price. Upon disassembly I noticed all the numbers match except the trigger. It is off by one number!!! One stinking number!! Maybe this happened at the factory or two buddies sitting around cleaning their pistols and drinking some Schnapp's and they didn't look at the numbers when they re-assembled the pistols. Anyway, you know Luger collectors, I might as well throw it in the trash can!! Well actually I would never do that but darn, so close.

Please do not throw it in the trash can...give it to me. I promise to love it for the mutt that it is and I don't care what others think...A nice 1900 Swiss with a one number off trigger at a good price is something to be treasured and I can live with that.

I can imagine how you felt, I would have been furious and disappointed, unfortunately things like these can happen; anyway a nice 1900 Swiss is always a thing of beauty.

First the fact that is one number off that it was a mistake the inspectors should have caught! You are not alone, out there there is a Swiss with your fireing pin! He has the same problem! We just have to bring you two together~ Eric

I just bought a Swiss 1900 magazine with the round aluminum insert. This is going in my 1900 commercial. There are no markings on the magazine. Is this normal for commercial guns?

The round insert magazines are military. Commercial magazines did not have the insert. Swiss magazines are typically not numbered, military or commercial (there are a few examples that are numbered, I am still trying to convince myself that they are authentic).

In fact I don't recall never ever having seen a numbered one.
