Hi Fred, If you really want to liven things up you should post pictures of a Russian or a Spandau, Swiss Lugers are soo tame. Regards, Norm

For you Swiss-luger-loving guys:

The full list of Swiss parts suppliers for the Swiss 06/29 will be revealed in our book 'The Parabellum Is Back - 1945 2000'. This will include the suppliers of the tools and the magazines.

And yes, Paillard, was one of them

Yes, Exactly what they are. They are a stamped sheet metal bore cover that attaches thru a spring action to the sight that covers the bore. Very rare. I only know of Swiss ones. I don't think any other country made or used them.

Here's some more Swiss stuff.

This poor gun was used for the analysis of the Swiss gauges and the Swiss Parabellum vs. Mauser Parabellum comparisons we did.

They are muzzle protectors that I have only seen on Swiss Lugers. They were made by the Swiss firm "Luthy". If you look back through the previous posts in this thread you will see that this question was asked and answered a couple of times.

P.S. Did you notice that the 1900 Swiss I posted is a "wide trigger"?
