I am trying hard to make it there...
The other half is dead set on a lake trip this weekend, need to change her mind or delay our start.

I will be there walking around. No German Police Firearms display tables this year. Those guns become heavier and heavier to lug around every year it seems.

I'm sorry to miss you all. That's just down the road a piece, however trap shooting calls. Maybe next time.

I am really sorry to miss you both. I would really like to put faces with all the great messaging that has occurred on this site. I guess I will just have to tolerate Bill Friedner (Blufflake)there for a coupe of days

Pat makes tolerating Bill much easier.

I had an excellent MVACA show in Kansas City this year as well. I picked up a few goodies including a very nice circa 1941 .22cal KKW trainer rifle by Gustloff with E/C Police markings as well as a circa 1946 Soviet Zone of Occupation Berlin Volkspolizei P.27 pistol made by fnh.

Default KC Show East German Cz27

Gents,

I picked up an interesting East German Police Cz27 at the MVACA Show in Kansas City over the weekend. It is a late war manufactured Pistole Modell 27 made by "fnh" in the last years of the war. It is all matching, except for the magazine, in wartime phosphate finish with the later fnh maker marking on the left side of the slide. The pistol has been run through the Volkspolizei Armory in Suhl and has a VP star with 14 in the center marking on the left side of the trigger guard. It retains it original wartime eagle and swastika firing proofs and military WaA found on the right side of the frame. Interestingly, it also has the very early markings for a pistol issued around 1946 in the Soviet Zone of occupation of Berlin. It has "SKS" Soviet Zone property markings on the front gripstrap with the large Berlin Police star following the Soviet Zone markings.

The pistol is shown with a 1962 dated Makarov style MdI marked police holster. The Cz27 fits this holster and magazine pouch perfectly.
