How to care for WWI era holsters?
Hi All,
I read on this site that Lexol and Pecards are the recommended products for maintaining holsters. I also have seen posts (at other sites) that say these products ruin holsters and "mink oil" is the only safe way to go. I have a couple of WWI era holsters that are in fine condition and I want them to stay that way. Advice?

Where does it say about lexol? I know that the holster in the tech area says that and I disagree, it's too thick for me.

Lexol tends to loosen fibres and will eventually lead to weakened leather.
Conolly's leather care is one of ther better products to preserve antique leather. |
