Post Should I buy this Artillery?

I am not very familiar with artillery values, and am considering buying the following: 1917 DWM in about 93% condition, 50% straw, mint bore, all matching down to the firing pin. Grips are superb and also matching, mag is proper but not matching, fine tune rear sights. Possibly unfired judging by the internal condition. Price is $1300

Aaron, I am no expert in these prices either, but I can say that I have seen refinished ones go for more on the gun auctions on-line.

Sounds like a fair deal to me?

Others, with more experience, please chime in...

If everything is really as you describe it, and it is all authentic, it sounds like a pretty good price to me.

Thanks, gentlemen, I thought it sounded like a fair price, and you convinced me of that, so the firearm in question now reposes comfortably in my safe.

Thrilling Photographs Aaron...

How a piece such as this can last nearly a hundred years and remain in such fine shape is always a mystery...

Congrats on a fine Luger.

Great gun. I don't particularly like Artillerys, but I would have bought that one.
