Default Unit S.Sch.II.453.

I have a frame I am rebuilding into a 22LR shooter, 9619 or 9519 per pictures. I'd like to know what unit it was issued to. It also appears to have also been issued to another unit earlier, but all I can make out is a K under the h and a 26. under the 53. Looking for used parts under WTB section below.

You have a Municipal Police P.08 frame. It was issued to the 2nd Centuria of the Schutzpolizei of Schleswig and was their number 453 in inventory.

The II. in this marking indicates this was issued to the Schutzpolizei command stationed in Kiel (HWIS p. 138). The surviving mark is consistent with the format specified in the 1932 marking order. The earlier marking may have been from the same unit and consistent with the 1922 order. The frame has not been cut and drilled for a Walther (mag) safety, suggesting it was issued to a barracked Bereitschaft company.

The .22lr shooter project sounds interesting. Could you post some pics of progress you make, please? I'm curious what approach you will take with the action.

I hope Diver has better luck with his Luger .22 than I have had with my T 14 "conversion" to .22!

Got it to work single shot fine, but I just can't balance the opening impulse and closing spring tension to get it to feed from a modified magazine.

I'd also like to see "progress" photos! Please!
