Post HK Take Down Tool...

Just brought this tool home. Would appreciate your opinions about authenticity...











Here is a shot of my S-code HK (serial # 2122) rig :



I know HK holsters are usually black...but I thought the color of this leather matches my HK Ritzmann grips well and the 1937 date of the holster is proper for my gun. No "HK" stamp on the leather, though...

Beautiful rig, Pete. I feel lucky to have seen all of these components at one time or another. Gibson's book, page 146, authenticates, in my opinion, your tool, stating that most of them had only one proof, such as yours.

No opinion on authenticity Pete, but looks like a nice rig!

People have told me that the best way to tell a real tool form a fake is the thickness and quality compared to the repros the originals are thicker and just better made?
