Default Help

I have been offered a 1917 DWM mismatched shooter, receiver does not match frame and other parts with shoulder board.the current owner want My P7 PSP with 3 mags and $300.00 for it.I am not up on values, but have always wanted an Artillery or Hunter model the safety selector,drip screws and trigger seem rather shiny in the pictures so I am assuming they are repro I need help on the valuation methinks I my be getting the slippery end of the stick thank to all Karl

I have no idea about the P7's value. I've heard that any functioning artie shooter is worth at least $1,000. I paid a little more for mine at an RIAC auction, and it's all matching but has the stock lug ground off. If the stock board is collectible, maybe even numbered to the gun's frame, that would be a plus, but value is limited by the mismatch.

The shiny small parts you're seeing may look that way in pics because they were heat treated at the factory to a "straw" color, which helps to prevent rust. But they still could be buffed shiny by holster wear--good pics help.

Generaly any shootable mismatched but intact artillery should be worth $1000-$1200. But we REALLY need to see photos to be of any help. Check GunBroker to see what the P7's are bringing.

I can help you out on the hk p7, if it is like the hk p7 m8 i own , in vg cond, they bring in the 1200 to 1300 range due to the rarety, in my opinion and this is my own opinion , i would not consider an even trade muchless want 300 to boot. goodluck
