Artillery Holster Rig
I am new to collecting all things Luger so I would be really grateful if someone can help me out, please, with a set of images showing how to assemble the Luger Artillery Holster Rig. I seem to have the holster, double magazine pouch, shoulder board and snail drum holder plus a whole load of leather straps - but no pictures to help me re-assemble. Problem is I've searched loads of websites but just can't seem to find the definitive answer.
Thank you and Bon Weekend, Michael |

The high side of the boot is on the wrong side.

Thanks. My Artillery rig does not have this piece , does it means that the boot is a repro?

Hi Alf,
Could be, I have a couple of repro boots/toe pieces lying around that have the small leather piece stitched on. If anyone needs a repro toe piece, b.t.w., let me know, I've got 2 spares. |

We need Jerrry Burney to see these latest photos, but I believe, in my amateur leather knowledge, that the boot strap has been replaced at some point... and that is why it is missing the retainer.
