Michel..A cool holster! One I have not seen before. Nicely made and a one of a kind for sure. It looks to be modified from another holster/pistol type..

Bill,
I hadn't thought about a suitcase lock but that sounds reasonable. The only similar thing I could think of is the lock on those old diaries that your girlfriend didn't want you to look at. ![]() It is a neat and quite well made holster. I would love to know its origin.

Hi,
The lock on the holster is maker mark 'Pat. Pend. USA Excelsior Stamford Conn.' According to the member lugerholsterrepair, a dry rot treatment was applied to the stitching turning it to a reddish color, a practice very popular with the German. Regards, juno-44 |
