Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on a nice stick eagle 83.I want to trade it for a mag to go with my 1940 42. A friend has one but I don't know the value of the 122 or the 83.

The only correct magazine for your 1940-42 in my opinion is either a rolled tin blue body SE-655 (2-MM-SE5) marked or an extruded type 122-SE-37 magazine. If after the - d - letter suffix only the 122 code (3-MM-122) code magazine would be correct. What is the serial number and letter suffix, I can tell you which of the two fits. Good Luck
