right side marking
HI.
I have a ,what I think is a commerical P08.It has on the right side a mmarking------------in the shape of a large letter A-the cross in the A is the cross in the letter T and the letter Cis in the middle of the letter T.I can not for some reason down load a picture on this page.What is this marking.I have looked at many pictures of P08s and have not seen any others Michael |

Michael, if you can secure a copy, check pages 148 and 203 of Costanzo's World of Lugers. The "A" is actually a triangle, the "T" and "C" are inside it. According to Costanzo, this mark is the Russian Tula Arms factory rework symbol. It is usually located on the top of the barrel and not where you say you found your marking. Sure would be nice to have pictures.
