I am new to the forum and have a question about a mauser luger. It is an all matching including one clip, chrome not nickel with stag handles byf42. It appears to be original. My father had matching chrome po8s that he took off a prisoner during the war but were stolen out of his footlocker when it was shipped back. I have been told that quite a few trophy items disappeared in the shipping process. Thusly, I have always been interested in finding the real thing. This gun is either original or the best finish I have ever seen. Please help with anything you know. Thanks, Curt

Hello Curt,

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Geneva">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Geneva">It is an all matching including one clip, chrome not nickel with stag handles byf42.</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,Geneva">If the magazines are nickle, that is okay, but no guns were made that way originally and although I like stag grips, they are all after market add ons. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

So, if you can provide pictures or futher information, we can help out some more,

Ed
