Mauser acceptance stamps
Hello guys,
I am reading the last Jon Speed's book about the Mauser Archive. Really good book with plenty of interesting data. I guess a real must for all people interested in the Mauser history. In any case, I was reading the part related to the French control of the firm when I have notice a picture describing the acceptance Mauser stamps found in the Mauser sewer line. I was aware about this history (one big collector in Germany has several kilos of this stamps) and, last year, I bougth two acceptance stamps coming from the same set described in the Jon Speed's book. In addition, I was so lucky to find a stamp with the letter "b" in real good condition because it didn't spent the last 40 years in the sewer line. All marked WaA135. Have fun. Mauro
