Arrow Phoenix shoot

I hope this is the right place f/ this............
On/about June 15th: we're having another Fal shoot in Phoenix.
Out in desert; open shoot, w/ lot's of toys.
Went to last three, able to shoot: m-60/1919a4/sten/uzi's/etc.
What might be of interest to us, is last time; someone had a mg-42 on tri-pod(just rips thur belts).
Early shoot(heat), friendly people, some wing nuts(not really!).
If you live in PHX. area, and would like some info, contact me.
Allways a good time!

Yes, if still confused: I'll give you my phone #.
Some question about date: changed to June 22.
I know that they are brining 50 cal + some belt-mg's.
Morning shoot(heat)-bring lot's of ammo

Talking

Sounds really cool, or neat if the cool is really hot!

Anyway, although off topic of what you are saying, I shot the MG-42 when I got my German bronze medal for shooting (snootzenpher, not spelled like that at all, but "sounds" like that), I shot the machine-gun and it really does rip through rounds. High volume of fire and I was told they had changed but little since 1945?

Very fun stuff!

Hello David,

There is another message thread running in the General Discussions section about next year's Luger Fest...

If you are planning on attending, might you get some info. together for the attendees that might want a day of luger shooting out in the field, somewhere ?

Since you live in Phoenix, AZ; might we "volunteer" you to be in charge of organizing this shooting event ? Last year some folks went to a nearby airbase to see some historic aircraft. This year, a luger shooting outing might be a grand idea !!! <img src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" border="0" alt="[bigbye]" />

Yes, I would be interested in something like that.
It depends on where WOL whould want to shoot.
There is a range operated by the state(Ben Avery).
It's ok (everyone goes there:200 yd shooters to people w/ Lorcin pistols-don't know which end to use).
Of course there is many places(desert) for uncontroled "blasting".
Phoenix has a few private ranges($12 hr +).

The shoot this time w/ too hot(no fun).
But if we can time, both events: A good time f/ all

How many comming/when/what to do??
If I can get some idea about these ?, I can formulate some plan.
Email if I can be of help...............

Hello David,

I think an attendee list may be a bit too early now...

Last year the "list" started to shape up in the Dec-Jan timeframe with Luger Fest happening in early March.

Let's just let things "hang" and then you and I can try to work out a "shooting outing" once the list starts to firm up...

Keep me advised.
March is nice(temp) here, so something could be worked out.
If I can be of service.....................
