You were doing just fine until you had to go mention my name. Talk about dredging up old stuff!
I wish I had as much power as you give me credit for. I don't, and never did have the "power" and or influence to shut the old forum down. I have never commented on the .45 Luger Carbine, nor do I ever plan to. I, like most others on this forum will never have any desire to own such a piece. I really don't care if it's real or fake, that's really between the buyer and seller. I find it very strange that the very people who prasied my knowlege and willingness to help other collectors(yourself included), suddenly turned on me when I posted a ligitamite concern/ complaint that I had with Mr. Shattuck. In fact you guys think automatically that every thing I post has to do with him. The facts are Brandon, that I had purchased a couple of Lugers from Ralph, prior to this fiasco. We talked about our differences in opinion, and came to a solution. It was not until our last transaction that things became sour. I paid money on my layaway for an extended period of time and had decided to see the gun in person before remitting the balance. I met Ralph at the closest gunshow I could attend, saw the gun and it was not in the condition agreed to. I asked to merely pick out another gun and apply the deposit. I was assurred bu Ralph that I would just get my money back(Yes I have written proof).
The end result was he kept my money and the gun has sold. I have nothing at all to show for it. I tried to work things out, to no avail(Yes I have written proof). I presented the scenario to the forum using no names to get honest feedback. I was urged to present the facts to the forum, which I reluctantly did, verbatum. The response was enormous. The same types of problems were happening to others on the forum, not only with Ralph, but other dealers too. I have been told that this forum isn't the place to deal with such issues. There is a predisposition to protect certain people on this forum. This also is a fact.
I lost a great deal of money(to me)and have nothing to show for it. That is a fact. Brandon, I also noticed that I can't send you personal E-Mails. I'm on your "ignore" list. God, I really am back in kindergarten!
Well, you can't be my best friend anymore either, and I'm going to tell Ron and Thore not to play with you either, cause you got "cuties"

back to the real issues at hand, now someone once suggested that we start a pool of money and buy a Luger a month. I think I was suppsoed to get the first couple of months worth, cause I'm such a nice guy?

list! Oh, heck! I don't have "cooties" my friend in Kindergarten gave me a "cootie shot" he made from a toilet paper tube and elmers glue. It must be true cause' he said it was, and he even had it written with crayon on the end! I believe him, and you should too....I just know he wouldn't fake it! You are not only nieve but very funny!
