Mauser Banner Sold at Auction: Thoughts?
The Mauser Banner Luger linked below was sold at auction yesterday. On top of the 18% markup may be another 3% if a CC was used. That could total $3025.
In the same auction there were two DWM Lugers (1917 & 1918) that sold for $1400 and $1100 respectively and a nickel plated 1936 Mauser for $700 plus markup. Considering condition, etc. of the Mauser Banner Luger, what do you think of the price paid? https://www.proxibid.com/Firearms-Mi...ation/56910863 |

I think the $2500 was a decent price - its the commission that likely surprises people later, it really adds up and some are 21-23% !
