Help needed Steyr-Hahn m1912
Hello,
I was fiddling with my Steyr-Hahn as I saw a WTB ad on the gunbord forum for one. I was confirming the caliber since the frame is Nazi proofed but the upper and barrel were Romanian contract. I put in a 9mm snap cap and the pistol closed but is just out of battery and the trigger still disconnected, but I can’t open the action back up and extract that snap cap no matter what I try. At least I can assume it’s chambered for 9x23...Any suggestions?

If it were me, I would run a wood dowel, or brass rod down through the muzzle and treat this as a squib round. Likely the snap cap has engaged the rifling and it is just stuck. A light tapping on the rod may well free things up....Good luck
