A super rare Mauser 714 listed on RIAC
http://www.rockislandauction.com/vie...id/54/lid/3400
The Blue Book says it's "too rare to be priced". Everything looks correct on this one (well, at least matching my imagination). Enjoy! One question on Stoeger's numbering: 710 -- Regular 1930 711 -- Nickl Schnellfeuer 712 -- Westinger Schnellfeuer 713 -- ?? 714 -- If I remembered right, it's this one. What's 713 in Stoeger's catalog? |

Hi Alvin
What do you think of the "W" and "M" in the inscription? Are they suppose to have split ends? Maybe I need a new computer and eye glasses Be careful out there, so often rare guns have been loved to death by their owners. Good luck! Vern |

Vern, eagle eyes!!
I assume that split ends are just photo shadow on letters, but that could be a dangerous assumption. Missed this gun in the auction though. Only got a manual in this session. |

It sold for only $28,750.00. You were just outbid by $5.
