Default P08 magazine problem

I have 3 old P08 magazines and wanted to clean them inside and out. 2 magazines are non descrip but one is a FXO with aluminum bottom (the P is towards the bottom). I cleaned all of them and 2 went back together OK. The one causing me a problem has a shiny metal body, white plastic bottom and black plastic follower. The spring in 'round' not like the others and one end of the spring fits into a hole in the bottom piece and there is a round metal piece that the spring is attached to. Problem: The spring assembly just fell out of the body when I disassembled it. NOW tho, it is too large diameter as well as the piece attached too it and it will not go back into the body! The the 'H'?
