1916 DWM in South Africa I'm new at the Board
Hi all,
I was today at a gun shop and saw a nice DWM Luger from 1916. All numbers are matching exept the mag (wooden bottom) and the 1920 marking. The finish is not very nice because of the using, seem it was carried a long time, but only a very few pitting. The blueing maby 50%. I'am owning an shooter 08 and it is a great gun. Now I thinking about to collect the luger, because in South Africa was the law changing and a lot of people give away there items. Can this be an collector item? If it's so I can go back with a camera. The price will be arround $600. Thanks for help |

Joerg,
Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure of pricing in South Africa, but here in the U.S. $600 would be an acceptable price on a 50% all matching 1916 DWM. Photos would help a great deal. Ron
