Default Crummy copy-$204.01

This is an example of what happens to your hard earned cash if you don't buy books and do your homework.

In this case I don't think it's a matter of searching reference books. This genius of a seller is careful never to use the word "original" or "authentic." His entire description is highly deceptive, but not outright fraudulent.

Aaron, His entire description is highly deceptive, but not outright fraudulent.
I really do not fault the seller as much as the buyer.
The sellers description is eclipsed by the photo's of this bogus holster. It is all there for the astute buyer to see if he will but look.

Knowledge is Power

Let the Buyer Beware

Don't buy the story

For this you need books or experience ,not an accurate description.

Wow! At least the one that Jerry showed us has the belt loops put on at an angle! That one that OldJarhead has pointed out looks REALLY BAD. The actors on Hogan's Heroes could certain do a better job of faking a holster than that one! The seller certainly implies that because he found the holster with a Luger in it, that the holster is somehow also genuine... I would never buy a holster without getting Jerry's opinion on its authenticity and value in today's market.

Mike, http://froogle.gunbroker.com/Auction...?Item=90937772

OUCH!! $29.95 would be 25 bucks too much! These purchases are sad in many ways...

John, I appreciate your trust and confidence...I help many who contact me. That's one of the reasons why this Forum is valuble and popular. People willing to take the time to help further Luger collecting.

Thanks for your help in managing it!

You have GOT to be kidding me! When I see a seller perpetrate frauds such as these, I make mental notes to avoid any of their future auctions regardless of what they are selling! Based on principle.
