Question Where to find a P-08

I am looking for a shooter grade Luger to enjoy.
I dont currently own one and have looked for a awhile, but with all the variations I am confused as to what and where to buy.
I have a C&R FFL if that helps, I started a milsurp rifle collection this year also.
Any help will be appreciated by me.
Thanks for your help. <img src="graemlins/icon107.gif" border="0" alt="[icon107]" />

http://www.auctionarms.com/ is a good place to check, also the classified section in the Luger menu links. Shooters run in the $350 to $550 range, but you can always spend more. Several members here have them available and they won't do you wrong. Put the word out about how much you want to spend in an announcement in the General Discussions board, and glad to have you here.

Take a look in the "Links & Resources" section of the Forum for Tom Heller's number and give him a call. he usually has several very nice shooters in stock at decent pricing.

Torquemada055,

The above is good advice, however, I would avoid the online auctions. I've seen too many ordinary shooters get bid up to ridiculous levels. I've also had bad experiences with guns not living up to descriptions and deceptive digital pictures. There is no substitute for a hands-on inspection. FYI, I'll be posting a shooter soon on the Forum board, just can't seem to part with it yet. KFS
