Default Interesting P.08 Holster "gjh 41"

Recently picked this one up. Someone told me it has a canadian service number inside? I couldn't find a list of makers for ww2 P.08 holsters so thought I'd share it here. I haven't seen to many holsters with the "P.08" stamp in between the belt loops, is this common? Also noticed the extra period "." after "P.08."?

Cheers,
Rylan

You holster was made in 1941 by Rudoph Conte, Offenbach (maker code "gjh".)

The "P08" marking between the belt loops was commonly found by this maker dated between 1941-1942.

Nice find!

It is more common to find the PO8 in the back upper right. However Luger holsters were made by many manufacturers so differences are expected. Bill
