Post Hitler's pocket pistol

Watched the docudrama on Hitler's early days and was a little disappointed to see that Hitler did not favor a Luger as his personal weapon. The pistol he brandished was a Sauer & Sohn 7.65 pocket pistol. However, credit is due to the director's historical accuracy in providing him with a perfectly correct weapon for that time frame. I couldn't find any glaring errors in the various firearms used.

In the scene During the Beerhall uprising where they are fired upon in the street while hitler is arm in arm with his cohorts... the Army has large ring K98, several with laminated stocks (WW2 vintage). I was channel surfing and only watched about 30 minutes of it. Rohm with the C96 was interesting. As with all period movies, it is sometimes extremely difficult to round up enough correct vintage props and the movie appeared well done and well researched.

There were some Lugers fired in one sequence!

IIRC, At that period in the movement ole Adolf generally packed a Menz 32 gun in his pocket for fun and a Mauser 1914, too. (With apologies to the late Jim Croce).

I thought it a good movie, there was one scene, around the time that they killed Rohm and they brandished a P38, I don't believe any P38's were around then, as it was accepted for use in 1938 (duhh I know), but overall it was pretty good. On the gunboards, people said Hitler was carrying a Frommer? I have no idea, but was intrigued that it looked so different.

Didn't see the show, but just from curiosity, does anyone know the type of pistol Hitler owned that Geli Raubal used to kill herself? The only thing I have seen is that it was 6.35mm (.25ACP) caliber.
