Post Gold Plated 1914 Erfurt Artillery

Just picked up this work of art!!!????.....yes, somebody took an all matching minty Erfurt and plated it with some sort of gold plate....here are some photos....can you believe what has been done to it.....the only defense is that I am in Canada....and the cold Winters do strange things to mens minds up here.....

There is a matched pair of gold damised artilleries in a custom case in the Norton Gallery here in Shreveport.

It sounds like "Louie" was a "big wig" in the local chapter of the Puce Panthers. He probably needed it to keep the young neo-nazi punks at bay. TH

Hey Tac.. "loose fitting rose pink silk soft carry case"..I hope these things don't catch on....It would be sad to see a big burly guy show up at the range with his Luger in one of them!!
