Default Ajax grips update

Spoke with Paul at Ajax; he is the custom grip maker. He told me that if you send them your P.08 and $175 they would custom fit a new set of walnut grips. They guaranteed no gaps. For Hugh the same money they will make a set of one-piece grips for the baby projects out of walnut like Micarta. On a cheaper note the retail price on walnut replacement is $40. Dealer is $28, but I have to order $100 minimum to get the reduced price. So if anyone wants to take a chance with me drop me a note. I will make a onetime offer them at the $28 plus postage to whoever want to try them.

Did Paul mention if their grips have that thick back edge or do they have the proper knife edge to the front and back strap edges and do they have those toe projections at the bottom of the front. If they dont have the thick edges and toes, this might be a possiblity, but I am not holdign my breath, all repos I have see, with the excelption of the Nill-Griffe's have the thick edges. ~Thor~

Thor would this be to hard to scan in or take a picture of the difference?

I have one set of grips on a Luger, the other two are plastic Russian ones and some smooth (but nice) aftermarket on my Arty and I can't picture the differnces in my head.

Full of work stuff, uck. ;>)

I can take a picture, let me go see if I have a set of crappy grips, most have already been fixed by Hugh. Thor

http://www.nill-griffe.com/ but dont get the checkered ones, they used to be good, but their checking is alittle lack of recent times. Buy the uncheckered ones and send the to Hugh to checker. Use the Bandera Tx location, not the German location. Thor
