Default I need help

I have a luger with the markings P.T.16 What do these letters and numbers mean? they are on the frontstrap.

Photos of the pistol and unit marking would help. Possibly a Pionier-Train unit marking but maybe not.

I think it can be Polizeischule Treptow.

I don't have pics yet, The luger is a s/42 with no date marking or anything over the chamber, wood grips, even blueing all over. It seems that the serial numbers are original with no restamping, and they match.

it is always best to give a good description with the first posting, because an S/42 is not a weimar era

So, date, markings, type, caliber, and anything else you can think of will help us, help you
