Question Jan Still's Site?

Does anyone know what has happened to Jan Still's discussion board? It, Gunboards.com, has been down for two days.

Gunboards.com is doing some server upgrades and general "housekeeping" over the weekend apparently. I don't remember any annoucement on the site about this and I DON"T know why they wouldn't post something about the boards being down! It is like the operators woke up at midnight and decided to close everything down for awhile without any acknowledgement, explanation or warning to the members. I know they can do anything they want but it seems wierd to me that they conduct their business like this!

I sent an e-mail to Brent (Tuco) the other day and this was his reply (this morning);
quote:
The DNS is moving and it is causing some issues on the site. My guess is that in the next couple of days it will be fine.
The Net is not perfect and this is one example of that.

Being one of the administrators, I was a bit frustrated that I didn't know what was going on... At least it isn't something major...

Thanks Lloyd and Edward. Yeah, a little heads-up would have been nice. I thought they may have been hacked again.

What happened when they were hacked before? Did the whole Gunboards site get damaged?

David, Jans site is on the gunboards network, but is on its own server, when last attacked it had all its information deleted. Now the site is better protected, and the info is saved on a regular basis.
