Default Correct Ammo?

A gentleman is offering an Interarms Luger on Gunbroker and advertising it as being chambered for the "7.65mm Para (.30 Mauser)" Aren't the .30 luger and .30 Mauser dimensionally different?

As I understand it the .30 mauser is 7.63 x 25 while the .30 Luger is 7.65 x 21. Am I correct about this and is there an Interarms Luger which is chambered for the .30 Mauser? Can one safely shoot the .30 Mauser in a firearm chambered for the .30 Luger???

Regards,
Doug

+1

The 30 Mauser will not even fit in a Luger magazine. Here's the two, side by side...
