Post Is this a Luger holster?

This holster came with my gun.
On the inside it is marked with "1941" and a crown.

It fits the gun very well, (also the spare magazine). There are no german markings on it as I can see.
Can a 1911 holster fit a Luger that good..

It is a British holster. Possibly for a Webley or HiPower?

That appears to be a Danish holster for the M-49.

PS: It is a Danish M-49 Holster. It was modified from a WWII British Webley Holster. We sell them here at the shop for $15.00.

Whew!! For a minute there I thought I had mis-identified the British "Broad Arrow" mark.

Since it's not a Luger item, I just bought a different holster for the Luger. (not in that good shape that it appears like on this pic dough..)

(Btw. sorry if my english typing is bad, I'm norwegian, and my english is a bit rusty..)

MK, The black leather holster shown does appear to be for a luger, with a modified Police type closure strap. Any stitching marks on the from or flap from a previous buckel and strap closure? What are the markings on the back between the belt loops? Th

Think the black holster is a luger holster, later used by the norwegian army after the war.
But I'm only guessing, just got it trough QXL (simular to eBay). So it can come from anywhere..?
The little pocket for the tool is gone and it's modified to fit the web-belt. I know an old man who used to fix saddle's to horses, so I'm going to ask him if he can fix it

On the back it is marked K.W.K 1939 and "a1564-000061" in some white digits (realy hard to read) on the back.

Lugerdoc: what is realy the function with the police type closure strap? Draw it out faster?

Ps. I realy hope this is a geniun Luger holster, even dough it is not in a very good shape..
