Portable, Lighted Microscopes...
Recently at Tulsa, Ron Wood showed George Anderson and me a nice 30x lighted pocket microscope Ron uses for luger inspections...
Ron has not been able to find a stocking vendor...so I did some Internet searching and found a source with decent pricing : http://www.akmining.com/mine/magnify.htm Ron's model looks like the 2nd. to the last item on the bottom of the web page (...unfortunately, sold out right now...). Found another source : http://www.scientificsonline.com/EC/...egoryid=192738 Regards, Pete... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" /> |

Pete,
Thanks for the research. My 71 year old eyes can use all the help they can get! Carl |

Pete,
I got mine about 12 years ago at Radio Shack. It is variable magnification up to 100x. You can see individual skin cells with it. Still works perfectly with no malfunctions.

Radio Shack is where I got mine too, about the same time frame. They do not carry them anymore.
