Default 12/31 in "Afghanistan in the US"

Personally, I did not have much interest in Gobi. But all others love it they would go anyway, so the extra cost on me was just a flight ticket. Unique impressive view though.

No. It's called "Dead Valley", located in California, not far away from Nevada. The view was impressive. Not sure how local people make living there... but I did not see any human residence while driving miles after miles. While driving, I was thinking "this place is only good for a shooting range" But no range over there either. It's a national park.

The sign should be a traffic sign. Not sure. The picture was taken from a visitor information center, it's the only building in that neighborhood.

Go to the Algodones Dunes and you can have southern Iraq in the US. ;-) Nice view.
