Default last Band of Brothers

Hello all,

The last Band of Brothers has two prominent scenes of Lugerâ??s, one is a dead officer in the Eagles nest that a Luger gets taken off of and the other a Colonel surrenders himself and attempts to turn over his Luger. Major Winters tells him he may keep his sidearm.

Not really good shots, but was still cool to see.

I was watching WW2 in color (I have it on DVD, but hey, it was on the history channel and its always different watching it on TV...), anyway, I saw numerous holsters of Lugerâ??s and I am sure P38's and then on several occasions, instances of Lugerâ??s being used.

Any chance of getting "Band of Brothers" on tape? I don't have HBO.

Default HBO should release it on VHS and DVD and in a couple of months...

There are at least 6 one hour episodes and maybe 8 or 10

I think the 1st episode was a 2 hour and the other 9 were one hour each.

One of the best WW2 shows I have seen, showed warts and all, with many (many) positive things about our soldiers, their reactions and their stories.

I will buy it when it comes out.

I hope they do release it on DVD. I don't have HBO. My brother taped the first episode, but did not get around to taping the rest.

Default This miniseries should continue to be rebroadcast for a while

and often HBO does a whole string of them in sequence... perhaps you can search their website and find out this info so you can set your VCR to capture several hours worth...
