Help identify and date 1900 DWM commercial?
I bought this recently - 1906 mini Luger unknown who did the modification . I appreciate any input. No proof marks that I can find.

It looks to me like a 1906 that someone has cut down and customized to make a "baby" Luger. It is a neat looking piece, but it isn't a factory original.

Please see my previous post. It is a modified model 1906 that has been reduced in size by cutting down the grip frame and shortening the barrel. The gunsmith that performed this modification also renumbered the frame and barrel to match. It is well done and quite attractive but it is not a 1900 and is not factory original.

Thank you for your response. Definitely interesting and well done. Was not what I expected to hear but definitely makes sense the more I research.

If he needs a magazine, I would bet that GT could fix him up.

Any Luger mag should work. The modification needed to shorten the grip frame to Baby Luger size does not affect the position of the mag release.
Since most things are relative, this is just a chance to go gangsta with an extend-o mag. I wonder if G.T. could whip up a trommel mag for the Baby Luger...
