Default What kind of magazine do I have??

I was curious about what kind of magazine I have and what kind of luger it would be correct for. Its got a wooden base with just the number "3" stamped on it. There are no other markings on the magazine. I do believe it is a stamped shell.

This magazine is an early DWM product. The poor condition of the wooden base versus the excellent condition of the tube may indicate that they did not leave the factory together. The wood base has been sanded and possibly an original serial number removed. The "3" may indicate a Police reissue of the magazine.

I was wondering if it was a possible police magazine. I see most police lugers have the alum base on them. I guess I got the perfect gun for it then. I'll probably switch it out with magazine I got with a police luger I recently purchased.

I would say the #3 equaled the serial number of some gun....

A police number is usually above or below the serial number
