Viggo, from Dave in Aussie land, you might be 2 jumps ahead of me mate but I'll tell you that you need a scanner and a simple program like (Adobe Photo Deluxe)or any similar program.Chances are that if you have a scanner it would have come with a program that you can work with.

If you have (Adobe P D)and need help, email me ,I aint no wizz kid but I may be able to help.

Cheers

Dave

Default Viggo, it's not clear to me if ...

a) You have the color in hardcopy form and need to create a

.jpg file - or -

b) You have a .jpg file and just need to attach it to send it

to us

If the answer is a), then Dave' answer above is about as good as any. You have to get access to a scanner, scan the chart, and create the .jpg file that way. It's beyond the scope for me to walk you through this.

If you answer is b), then thats a little easier, and something I probably can help you with. Let me know via email, and I go from there.

Default OK, here goes...

the easiest is just to email the jpg file to me. In your email program, there will be a menu item that is labelled "ATTACHMENT". Select that, and it will ask you which file from you hard disk do you want to attach? Browse for the file, find it and select it, then press OK and the file will now be attached to your email. Send the email to me at the_dok@bigfoot.com, and I will put the chart in the General Information section of the site for all to see. OK?

I had finally come to accept that and I mailed the

file to Hugh before seeing this.

Thanks and expect to hear from me in the future.

Default Attaching directly to the message

In reading the preceding posts it appears to me that there is not a clear understanding of how to attach a .jpg directly to the message. I agree that a metal temperature chart would be best in the info section but a quick picture can be attached to the message by posting the image to a host site and then referencing that site in the appropriate box below the message text box.
