Pistol Not cocking correctly
I have fired 300RDS. in my 1971 6" Intrarms .30cal Luger, with nno problems. I purchased two Magazines from MEC-GAR made in Italy,
that stated they were for 9mm/7.65 cal. So now I'm have problems with full cocking and cartridge ejection. One round stood straight up never made it to the chamber. The ammuntion is FIOCCHI 7.65 93 gr. Can it be the mazines, Ammo. or what? This weapon is ablast to shoot. |

Robert..I purchased two Magazines from MEC-GAR made in Italy,
that stated they were for 9mm/7.65 cal. So now I'm have problems Luger magazines will accept either .30 or 9MM interchangeably. So they should work although a round that will stand straight up in the mag mouth tells me the feed lips MIGHT be loose/too wide? Generally speaking the magazine is the first place to look for problems that you are having. What magazines were giving you good performance? I don't know but your 1971 6" Intrarms .30cal Luger may not accept a normal Luger magazine..it could be an Interarms design. I know some parts will not interchange on an Interarms with a German Luger like the sideplate?
