I recently added a Vickers to my collection and other than the grips it is in great shape. I remember someone who restored some grips for me some time ago but can’t remember who. Anybody have any suggestions?

My grips aren’t terrible and the numbers match just want them freshened up, I am however looking for a #94 firing pin. It is the only art that doesn’t match.

The Vickers Ltd, Dutch Lugers were used hard in a tropical climate so it's always interesting to hear of one in great shape. Could we see a few pictures of your new Vickers ?

Alas, we lost Hugh Clark (who did grip work) last year. Jim Solomon recently did a beautiful job of grip restoration for me.

Cleaned the gun up tonight. Cleaned up nice. I wound up cleaning the grips with Clorox clean up and scrubbing with a small paint brush. Then liberaly rinsed with cold water. Then wiped them with a little teak oil. I’m satisfied.

Would you have a firing pin for this gun, #94? It’s the only part that doesn’t match. Also the pin that holds trigger actuator to the side cover is falling out. Is this something I can deal with or something you can fix?
