HK # 5527 To Report

Hi John D.,

This "1936" chamber dated HK luger recently went on the Hermann Historica auction for 4800 euros.

Did not know if you have this one in your database or not.

Auction ad described it as all matching, except for the extractor. Magazine number matched the luger's serial.

Hermann Historica had another :

S-code, # 1962, all matching numbers, matching magazine, with "HK Suhl" on front toggle link. Went for 3600 euros.

Think you might have this one already...it is in Gibson's book/tables :

"1937" dated, HK serial # 8675, with "HK Krieghoff Suhl" on front toggle, matching numbers, with postwar magazine. Sold for 3300 euros at Hermann Historica.

Guess it would be a real pain for us to try and bid on anything in Europe with the import hassle and all- be nice as even at the current exchange rates about 3-3400 for either of the latter ones
