Default Unbelievable!!

Someone must have found the matching mag. Can't explain it otherwise.

Ron,
I can understand someone wanting the mag to match a piece they own but it's difficult to understand who would run the price up that high bidding against them. The bidders list is private. Wonder if the seller has a shill? How does eBay protect against that sort of action.

Appears that maybe two collectors found a matching magazine; one of them won . . . . . . . painfully.

David and Luke, Yes, that's probably the case. The second place winner is probably chewing the grips off of his Luger as we speak.

I agree with Tom, the competition may have been a shill. Ebay's only concern seems to be magazine size and swastikas.

I do not know this guy personally, but I have dealt with trapper63 5 or 6 times buying trigger and small parts for lugers from him. He has always been reasonable on his prices and over all good to deal with.

What is that saying about it's only worth only what someone else is willing to pay. Well looks like it was worth a "WHOLE LOT" to someone!

I suppose that I would be willing to pay that much for a matching mag. Especially if the pistol was a 90-95% er. It would increase the value at least by the price of the mag., if not more.

minus the mag you replace, so you could sell it, and recoup some money...
