Post Trading banned from gun shows in Germany

Folks,

I understand that some of you have been to Germany visiting gun shows spending some bucks.
Be aware that this might not be possible in the future, as the mandatory exceptional permission for trade of firearms and ammunition at shows has not been granted for several shows in a row; i.e. Leipzig, Berlin and Dortmund were cancelled.
The current and future law do prohibit from such trade, but exceptional permission can be granted as long as it is not against "public interest". These permits were usually issued in the past. Now, across several states, permits are denied.
The reasons given for the denial are always "not in public interest", "must prevent from uncontrolled trade" and "prevent youngsters from raising desire".
As if we could buy a gun or ammo in this country not holding a permit with a 2-digit number of seals....
That's the way it goes in Germany now. Might be a short period of time only until we face the same what happened to the British.
And, BTW, that happens in states with different parties in power.
Be veeerrry happy to have the NRA in place!
Sadly,
Juergen
