Default Ebay SCAM!!!

This IDIOT supposedly from Romania wrote me a second chance offer on an auction currently running offered by Taudelt!

heartflobrs@aol.com I dearly wish I knew a way to zap this idiot's Email with a killer virus..

Sir, Yes I am very interested in this very rare holster but I could not possibly pay more than $600.00 Thanks, I know this is not enough but it is all I have...Thanks, Jerry

1934 Luger Police holster

Hello,
In order to make the transaction legit so we can be able to exchange feedback once completed I will have to get in touch with eBay Second Chance Offer Department. I will need to confirm me the following details:
* your complete name
* your complete shipping address
I'm located overseas for the moment, in Romania because my little sister is getting married and I couldn't miss this once in a life time moment. She found her true love over here in Romania. I have to stay here for at least two weeks.
Must inform you that I have the item in the custody of the shipping company who helps me very time to ship the goods to the buyers addresses. A 100% serious company and I have a contract with them. Regarding the shipping insurance,who protects my items from any damages on the way to the buyer, I can inform you that they are already paid. Shipping is covered by me so don't have to be worried to pay extra charges for delivery. So final price will be US $600.00!
Once you will provide me the requested details (full name, address) I will contact the eBay Second Chance Offer Department and they will do the rest. They will send you the rest of the instructions and info regarding this process. You need to follow the instructions exactly so we can be both protected by their Purchase Protection and Refund program. Positive feedback is assured once everything is fixed up.
Thank You and along with the requested details email me with any other questions you may have!!

Thank you!

Jerry, a bit back you were having problems with a person in Louisiana because of non-response on an ebay auction.

Why don't you repsond with that person's name and address ?? Also send his telephone number and email address so better contact could be made.

I get many of these 2nd. chance offers...they are made to look like they come out of eBay.

I am not sure how they are able to send me an email through eBay though...usually a bidder and a seller can only email each other through eBay when an auction is open and even after it closes...???...

I also do get legitmate 2nd. chance offers on items I have gone after and lost in bidding...

Usually the winning bidder has a zero rating...so I figured the seller was shill-bidding with a new account or a wife's account...especially if I see the winner has done the same with the same seller in the recent past...

I just ignore it...

Or just write..."nice try...you think I was born yesterday ? "

I received my first one a week or two ago. On mine, notice it "looks" like it is from ebay, but the http:// address is an IP, i.e. 102.135.20.67 if from ebay, it would be spelled out and NOT an IP. That IP is the collection point. BTW, responding to them proves you have a true email address and they are more likely to send more offers.

Ed, That may be but this was not sent thru Ebay at all. It was to my personal email address. He already had it. Now he has a string of cuss words that would make a Pirate blush.
He's with AOL so I should send him a constant string of very large photo's to clog up his address. Jerry Burney
