Re: repro luger holster accessories
Bob,
Take a look at the "Links & Resources" section for CMR. They make about the best repro holster available on the market. Another dealer listed is Tom Heller of Heller Arms. Tom may have some of the repro tools. The aftermarket magazines from MecGar are sold out from my understanding and not exprected to be availalble for several months. Tom may be able to help with a spare mag. Marvin |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Marvin,
Yesterday I ordered a brown holster from CMR for my pistol. I've got a brown 1916 which I bought earlier but did not want to run the risk of damage to that one. Can't wait to get it. Have you had any experience with CMR, as far as the holsters go? Milt |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Milt,
Yes I have! I have one of the brown Police holsters and the quality is absolutly superb. They do not have any markings on the back and CMR is no trying to "fake" up any German holsters, just provide the best quality repro available. Their holsters are made by a large holster manufacturer in Europe that provides holsters to various countries military. Their hosters are tops. marvin |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Bob,
I have one reproduction military Luger holster for sale. It is brand new and looks exactly like an original except the stitching is different. It is really a nice, good holster. If you're interested I want $45 plus $5 shipping. You won't be disappointed. |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Marvin,
Thank you ;and all the others who replied to my question about repro accessories. I am buying a holster from Bill M. and have ordered the CMR catalog, the clips need to have wood or aluminum bottoms, Sarco has clips but did not specify and I dont want plastic. The really nice thing about this forum is that you can trust people and when a member says Ill be happy with the holster i know its true! Thanks again. |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Marvin,
Thanks for your glowing reply regarding the CMR brown holster. I bought one of the repros from ebay recently for 35.00. The price was good but the thing smells like the last bullfight I attended in Tijuana last month. It has all the crap on the back, P08, swastika, eagle, 1942 etc. It seems as if they try to make the thing look as if it was the REAL thing. I don't like that much. Looks as if you're trying to pull a fast one on some poor sucker. I think with your reassurance of their quality, I will be very pleased! Thanks again! Milt |

Re: repro luger holster accessories
Milt,
The repro you got on e-bay was probably made in India from Water Buffalo hide. The Indian tanneries can turn out some nice leather goods, but the holsters I have seen were just not up to anyones standards. By the way, YES, the buffalo hide repros do STINK! Marvin |
