Luger Grips by Hugh
These "Liger Grips by Hugh" REALLY turned out great, they fit much better than the originals, and even look more authentic than the ones that came with my Luger, which I believe are knockoffs.
Thanks for doing more than was asked of you! |

Milt,
I also have apair of Hugh's excellent grip work and they are great. A friend of mine sent him a pair of originals that needed a freshening up and they turned out to look like a new pair! Hugh does excellent grip work. Marvin |

Re: Luger Grips by Hugh
Very seldom do we see craftsmanship such as this these days. We are all in a hurry, too busy, or so we think, to do our jobs as if it looked like we cared about the outcome, it seems as if the old work ethic has vanished by the way side.............but alas, not here!

Ted, let me know how to add a pix, I mean, blow by blow, I'm not a computer genious, I'm a salesman! I'll be more than happy to do this for not only Hugh, but others that are interested in craftsmanship, these days, at ANY price!

Hugh, do you make your own checkering tools?
Or use commercially available tools like from Brownells?

Re: Hugh, do you make your own checkering tools?
John, I use the Dem Bart from Brownells. Just recently splurged and bought the Carbide spacer and cutters. The carbide spacer tool is great, the others have some "chatter" to them as they are coarse. I use them for the first pass and then finish up with the Dem Bart "fine" cutter. I would recommend the Dem Bart or Brownells for a beginner, and would get a coarse and fine single cutter.
