Post 380 cal. Luger !!!!??

A have a chance to purchase a 380 cal. Luger. but know nothing about "baby lugers" . Are they common? Does anyone have an estimated price range for one in good condition? Also any info on which ones are more collectible. I'm asking because I have been saving up for a really nice BYF. Rig and if I get the 380 , it will be awile before I can get the Byf.!!!!!! thank you , Bruce

Get the byf, the 380 will be not a true Luger but a weapon that has an aluminum frame and ALWAYS has trouble with springs. The only exception are the RARE 380 and 32 baby Lugers. The top two picture is an ERMA and that is probably what you are contemplating buying. Save up for the BYF would be my recommendation. the 380 will cost you about 1/3 what the byf will but it not as well made IMO. The bottom picture is a true BABY Luger that is rare. They are also being made again by Krausewerke in California and run around $15k a copy.

Hi,

Erma's, although cute, also have parts problems as Erma went belly up some years ago and parts are tending to get in short supply.

Personally, I'd love to have a 22lr version
